MomCo is for moms at any stage of motherhood who are seeking friendship and connection. From expecting mothers to grandmas, all are welcome here. Many lessons are faith focused but our doors are open to moms of all backgrounds and walks of life. Moms do not need attend New Valley Church to attend New Valley MomCo. 

What happens at a MomCo meeting?
When you show up to MomCo you’ll be greeted by the smell of hot breakfast and coffee. You’ll catch up with friends and socialize for a bit before we transition to a fun game or icebreaker. Next you’ll hear an encouraging and practical lesson followed by a time of discussion. You’ll feel comfortable to add input  or just listen in. Finally we will close in prayer and after picking up your kiddos you are welcome to hang around to keep the conversations going. 

What will we learn?
This year’s theme is “Good Company” and it’s all about getting back to the days of analog friendship when intention and presence were required for connection. As followers of Jesus we are called to sit with one another and do life together even when it’s inconvenient. MomCo is designed to gently invite you out of your comfort zone and into the joy of community. Through a mix of MomCo curriculum videos and live speakers we will be learning about topics like belonging to God’s household, understanding your play language, communication in marriage, and many more! 

Is there childcare?
Childcare is available as an add on when you register. We have a childcare room for ages 0-2 and a “KidsCo” room for 3 and up. KidsCo is a fun-filled class and includes a lesson, activities, and snack. Babies under 1 are welcome to stay with mom during the meeting.  

Is it just meetings?
Nope! We are committed to building a thriving community with many opportunities to spend time together. We have regular playdates, Moms only events, couples nights, and whole family get-togethers.
