Bio - Aaron Hansen

I grew up in Oregon as one of four children. My family was very involved in our PCA church while growing up and also helped plant a church in my hometown of Newberg, Oregon. I often tell the story that my love for all things audio started one Sunday at church when I was doing as 12 year old boys do and messing around and was “volun-told” to come help run the sound board. I’ve been running every soundboard I could get my hands on since then.

I spent one year at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee studying audio engineering technology and then returned home to Oregon State University where I completed my Bachelors in New Media Communications in 2012.

In 2018 my wife and I ended up in Gilbert, AZ where I studied at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. The first church that we visited a week after moving to town was a wonderful PCA church called New Valley. We joined a community group, felt incredibly welcomed and at home, and we’ve been a part of the NVC family ever since!

My family consists of my wife Becca, and our two sons Jax and Owen.

I’m passionate about all things audio. I love recording music, mixing and mastering. I also just love sharing good music with those around me. I’m so thankful that my job allows me to do all of these things and it is such a joy to be on staff with New Valley Church!
