Prayer for a Cambodian Pastor
One of our own, Mary Kaech, who also works for Food for the Hungry asked if we could pray corporately for a pastor in Cambodia named Chim Chea. Pastor Chea has been imprisoned without just cause (because he is a Christian pastor). He has worked alongside Food for the Hungry in Cambodia meeting needs. FH’s president, Ben Homan, went to visit Pastor Chea this past week.

Fall Picnic

We usually have our picnics in the winter/spring. But this weather is just too nice to not have one, agreed? There is tons to do at this park, including a train for the kiddies. We will be bbq’ing and hanging out. Look in future bulletins for what to bring.

Easter Egg Candy Needed
Tami (our Kidz Director) is collecting candy to put in plastic eggs for an Easter Egg hunt after church on Easter Sunday (it’s in two weeks). She is looking for anything that fits in an egg and doesn’t melt. See Tami (tami@newvalleychurch.org) if you’d like to help.

This is a REALLY fun event and a chance to serve the community around us. We need folks to help man our booth where we will offer free spin art, face painting, and balloon thingys for the kids. See Dave Formisano (dform5794@cox.net) if you would like to help.

Women’s Hiking Trip
Saturday, March 29 • 3pm
Ladies! Strap on your hikin’ boots and your eatin’ pants and get ready to join us for a “hike and eat” on Sat. March 29th at the Piralta Trail in the Superstition Mountains.
